David Yoran

David grew up near Winston-Salem, NC.  After graduating high school, he went to school at UNC Chapel Hill to study Communications, and then Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary to study for pastoral ministry.

David first learned about Jesus as a child in his home church, but didn’t make that faith his own until much later. In high school and college, David learned more about the personal nature of a relationship with Jesus, and how amazing grace is to cover over his sins.

It was also in college that David first became involved in christian ministry through his involvement with Young Life.  Through Young Life leadership, he learned the importance of relational discipleship and evangelism.  After college, David began serving in youth ministry in various churches, and was ordained as a pastor in 2008.  Since that time, David has served at various churches in the Charlotte area.

David loves hanging with his wife, Celia, and their six kids.  He’s a tortured Carolina Panthers fan, but a proud fan of the UNC Tarheels.  David loves spending time with friends, working out at the gym, reading, listening to podcasts, learning about different cultures, and getting to know folks in the West Charlotte community.
