Ben Froelich

Ben was born in Richmond, Virginia but at 18 months-old moved to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan where his parents began working on the mission-field in the former Soviet Union. For high school, his family moved to Chiang Mai, Thailand. Although a Christian growing up, and having accepted Jesus as his Savior, Ben only began to ask more spiritual and existential questions in high school. The Holy Spirit put this on his heart from his time working with refugees on the Burmese border and from weekly visits to an orphanage for HIV positive children. Ben began to see what was in front of him for his whole life in Central and South East Asia: the brokenness of the world that so badly needs a Savior. In college at Liberty, his faith increased and became a big part of his identity.

In a class in college, Ben met Bekah and they were married in 2016. Currently, he works for a Business as a Mission based in Northern India (a for-profit software development company with a mission to share the Gospel with the software developers it employs). This role is not just focused on impacting the lives of the employees in India, but also on making Jesus known in the city of Charlotte as well. Ben loves to rock climb, read historical non-fiction, listen to podcasts, spend time outdoors, and watch the Celtics and Tottenham, but most importantly loves spending time with his wife and his daughter Oakley.
